why are premoves for live chess only?

So on mobile, i was going through settings and i noticed premoves in live chess, i tapped on it and thought it applied to every chess mode, not just live chess (i believe there was something similar in a diff setting but i forgot) and so i played a computer game (i like to mess around with chess so it was just white and black king and white and black queen and white and black pawns since you can transform pawns into anything (except pawns or king). But when i started playing i tried to do a pre move.. but it didnt work and i was confused, so i did live chess and it worked there. Can someone pls make an update where premoves are for every move or something? -LewisTehCat28

There are conditional moves in daily chess. They are similar.

But the analysis computer is different.

And the "versus computer" is different.

And if they had an unlimited budget, t and didn't have to manage exploding growth, make everything work the same.

But they don't.

I think it is in the themes or settings section.

+1 Right clicking squares also highlights them red.

Pretty sure premoves are "okay" for other time controls if utilized properly. fast blitz and bullet (not just 1 min.) would be much more challenging online, if not for premoves. Some premoves are "safer" than others. An easy example is premoving recaptures since the opponent not capturing would be an illegal move on your end (since a piece of yours can't move to a friendly occupied square).
