why do i always lose in 4 player chess?

i would like to help you but i dont know how sadly

maybe just dont give up cuz 4 player chess is much longer than live chess mainly because there isn't that big of a time control because you have like 30 seconds before the time starts ticking but teams is much more faster mainly becuase teams dont cordinate well

I meant the jerkweed who called you an iditot in the first place. More importantly, try thinking at least 3 steps ahead. You'll be much better considering all you're options, and all you're enemies responses to those options.
Try to ignore the cruel people on here. In reality, 4 player chess is VERY difficult and unpredicatble.

just watch GMs play it on youtube and you will get the hang of it

its just statistics. in classic chess, you have a 50% chance of winning (im going to ignore the small centipawn lead that white starts with). But in 4 way chess, (unless it's teams) your chances immediately drop to 25%. hope this helps!
