Why do I keep getting paired with players half my rating? Why can't I abort those games?

Recently I have been paired with several players half my rating on Chess.com. I am rating about 1530-1540 consistently. I have had several games in which I played against players rated 600- 1100. Playing those games are a complete waste of time as if I win I do not gain a single rating point, but Chess.com discourages aborting games without a good reason. In the rare case  that I lose or draw those games I lose 8 or 16 full points. I would rather wait five minutes to get a 1400 than ten seconds and then play against a 900.

Adjust your rating preference to someone higher, of course if you are playing a tournament you could get anyone
