why does live chess have poor links?

There are 13,050 players in live chess right now. If you find 1 or 2 with connection problems, what will that prove?

If one or two have problems,then we need to sort ourselves out. But, if 500 have issues, then there's more to do. But, hardly any posts indicates it's not a biggie for others. Or, like me; they're searching for another site out of frustration. :-(

For what it's worth, M'soft did some sort of unrequested upgrade to my pc software a few months ago and then I could suddenly play again without timing out. Certainly looks like it wasn't a Chess.com problem.
