Why do you say that it was unfair? Are you experiencing trouble in time control due to the lag server?

Ive lost about 70-80 points in bullet matches due to server lagg. Time control simply ticking faster and opponents wins by timeout. My internet speed and wifi signal is perfect.

I honestly don't know why people play chess here vs ICC.  People with money at least.

While that deals with disconnects, it also has some ideas that might help with lag, which is most often caused by things other than the server.

icc? tell me more about it. i think chess.com wants premium users thats why the lagging issue exists.

I know people with lag prefer to play at ICC because they do a better job handling it.  I don't have lag, but ICC is better than here for playing chess anyway.

The only thing chess.com has is the MySpace experience, for the kiddies who are into that sort of thing.

I play here because I also play correspondence, enjoy the videos and forums, and because I spend my money on Informants and wine. I agree that ICC is best for live chess.

My only play on ICC the past few years was some online tournaments organized by the Continental Chess Association during the COVID isolation. Much has changes in the past decade.
