Does anyone know if there are efforts in place for Live chess to DRAW a game when there is a repeated postion (three fold repitition, etc..)?

I just played this game and it came to mind.

did you click offer draw?

I didn't- does that stop the clock? because I probably didnt have enough time to otherwise. I realize that you have the option to offer - but shouldn't it automatically end the game if you do the repeated postion more then twice?

Thanks for your feedback

You have to claim it -- on three fold repetition (or the 50 move rule) "Offer Draw" doesn't give your opponent the opportunity to decline, but rather it immediately claims the draw.

The relevant rule in the FIDE laws of chess is 9.2, which reads:

The game is drawn, upon a correct claim by the player having the move, when the same position, for at least the third time (not necessarily by sequential repetition of moves)
a. is about to appear, if he first writes his move on his scoresheet and declares to the arbiter his intention to make this move, or
b. has just appeared, and the player claiming the draw has the move.
Positions as in (a) and (b) are considered the same, if the same player has the move, pieces of the same kind and colour occupy the same squares, and the possible moves of all the pieces of both players are the same.
Positions are not [considered to be] the same if a pawn that could have been captured en passant can no longer be captured or if the right to castle has been changed. (FIDE 2005, Article 9.2)

Please note the part indicated that you have to claim the draw. 3-fold isn't an automatic draw like stalemate, you have to claim the draw by clicking the offer draw button. When I've had 3-fold repetition, the game then automatic ends with a draw.

So in live chess on chess.com If I click offer draw after threefold rep or 50+ moves it forces the Draw?

That's right.
