If you are attempting to obtain additional registrations, I would highly recommend posting an online tournament life announcement on the USCF website. Currently, no such announcement has been added to the listings of upcoming tournaments. If you have any questions or would like additional suggestions, please let me know.
Good idea. TLAs listings (Tournament Life Announcements) done only on-line are free (that is on-line for the listing, not the event - OTB events often have on-line TLAs).
There is some lead time involved because the US Chess office reviews them first. Also the affiliate has to approve the TD so that the TD can enter it. Some members have their settings to automatically receive e-mails about tournaments when the TLA is created or two weeks before the event or both.
