Easy.  There have already been 5000 predictions the world would end, we're still here because they were all wrong.  There predictions come from human psychology, nothing more.

In today's Financial Times they report a Chinese cult with a female Jesus returning for Judgement Day, mixed with a Mayan end of times date on December 21.  Sounds colorful.

At least this cult has their head on right, calling for people to rise up against the "Red Dragon, CP."

Apparently, both the (earlier) Taiping and Boxer Rebellions had both Christian and Anti-Christian motivations, repsectively.  And nearly brought down the Chinese government.

yeah I got this 2 jobs on Friday, hope the world end at midday so I don't have to do the second job.
