I can't understand,Shadowknight.

ShadowIKnight

Don't worry, theres probably no-one on the internet that actually bothered analysing so you wouldn't understand. That took me 15 minutes to look at the lines and stuff D: So don't worry zschess.

Nice puzzle,Shadowknight.

#106 how about 1. Be5 black bishop pinnend and unable to take yours because of Qxe8, gives a lot more attacking potential then queen sacrifice in my opinion :)

ShadowIKnight

Oh yes you're right. NOW ive modified it so it's the best move ;P

ShadowIKnight

I think the only reason Be5 worked before was because I left a rook hanging, but now I found a better place for the black rook to be you see :O good work on spotting it anyway.

gourmat

I still think Be5 is the best move, but now your puzzle is much cooler ^^ but what can black do after Be5? Ne6 - Qxf8, Bf5 - Qxf8, Kg8 - Qxf8 all the other moves lead to Bxg7 Kxg7 Qxf8#..

true

Black has Rg8 after Be5 in the new one. The Be5 threat CAN be blocked, but in the old one it worked because of a hanging rook, placing white comfortably ahead.

Another puzzle from a random study:

Southernsoldier

Of course.

ShadowIKnight

Oh heres another one. Hope these puzzles are educational sort of; so the main ideas as black for the defence against that annoying b3 is c5 and Qc7 and, mainly, b6 and Bb7 I think or something along those lines!:

hmm maybe it actually isnt as uncomfortable for white as it seems. Or it doesnt seem uncomfortable. i don't know, ignore me and the annotations above, make what you think of it. I don't like most positions, im quite fussy :S

In addition to the puzzles, I like the title.

after Rg8 2. Bc4 ;) :)

ShadowIKnight

Bc4, then...? Bxg8? Im not sure where your going with Bc4 sorry.
On another note, another one from TT today (my 3 a day keeps the... actually never mind :D). I got it right after the first move which was a total guess after a while of thinking. Its really good as a diagram puzzle though... (thats a little hint):

gourmat

you can gain atleast the quality with a ton of matepossibilities, but maybe Im wrong :)

Re8+ Kd7, Re3? nothing big, but you can protect the pawn and scare the queen off...
