Broken Mirror

Obviously, Black was not that smart to copy every move White made! White will end up the victor every time. This is exactly what happened in the Traxler-Samanek game in Osyky, 1900. Here, White and Black mirrored each and every move until the end. I personally do not think that this was a wise decision for Black. It's a little ridiculous, but hilarious at the same time. I'm not entirely sure if this was a real OR practice game.

I did that once as black, and I won. I was playing the computer for that game

How did you win if you mirrored each and every move that White made?

Great game! are they grandmasters? If they are it would be funny because grandmasters don't copy there opponents moves they think on there own!

If you were copying his moves exactly, for every single move, it is surely impossible to win. In fact, I would bet money on it!

madpawn

Its not fair, it was black's turn to mate!

In fact, Karel Traxler is a Czech Chess Master, but I don't know about Jan Samanek.
