Calculation visualization: Forgetting where you visualized the pieces

So I have this problem of forgetting where I visualized the pieces. and every time I'll just have to re-calculate everything before forgetting it again. Has anybody faced the same problems before? It's hard to calculate in real games because of this sometimes. thank you!

My speculation is I might be calculating too fast?? I'm not sure

This happens to me a lot in tournaments (mostly when I'm nervous). I usually end up recalculating the lines. I would recommend practice with calculating complex positions where you know the right move but there are other equally good moves. If online, just draw arrows and say the moves out loud.

I'm relieved now. I thought I was the only one who had this problem. Thanks for your response I'll try it out! thumbup
