Nobody's guess was close . . . except einstein_69101's. Great find, man.

Brilliant puzzle!

mate in 2?? easy.. 1. Rb4+ Kb3 (the only move) 2. Nc2#

After 1. Rb4+, 1...Kb3 is illegal. And 2. Nc2# is impossible.

rxf4 is mate in one

After 1. Rxf4+. 1...Qxg8 (So not a mate in one.) 2.Nb4+ Kxa3. Not a mate in two.

Either 1. Nc8# , but as you're supposed to do it in 2 moves, 1. Ra4+ b3, 2. Qxb3#

1. Nc8# is impossible. I assume you meant 1. Nc1+. But then 1...dxc1=Q  2. Rxc1. Not a mate in two.

And after 1. Ra4+, 1...Qxg8. No mate in two anywhere.

ra4+ rc4,nc1+ mate  or ra4+ qxg6,nc1+ mate. Am I right?

Sorry, doesn't work:

1. Ra4+ Rc4 2. Nc1+ dxc1=Q. Not a mate in two.

1. Ra4+ Qxg8 (I assume you meant Qxg8 since there is no piece on g6) 2. Nc1+ dxc1=Q. Again, not a mate in two.

No, it certainly was not. I didn't find it. My hat's off to you!
