Can someone smarter than me please tell me why white doesn't just take the black bishop in the first move?

after KxB, then Qc7+, and then after black moves, RxQ

Next would be Bxg3+ and then mate with Q. 

Fairly intuitive and neat combination....

The actual mistake is 16. Qe1 . It should  propably be Qf3.
