This is off-topic for "More "Puzzles", and not very good advice. Always look at CHECKS and CAPTURES, but don't play them unless they bring you a tangible advantage. There's a saying, "Patzer sees a check, patzer plays a check." Don't be a patzer.

If your in end game I think everyone should just keep on checking the opponent. It works, gets them in a bad position and BOOM YOU GOT A CHECKMATE.
