1. f6 Kg8 (forced) and now 2. Kb1! which I would think is the only winning move. Now black will not be able to force the issue on the queen-side and white's two pawns will magically prevail!

what's this about magically prevailing? I'd like the solution please!

kco

yeah I like queen sac.

Well I got one for you. Just if I have time now to post it.

kco

just tell your boss that you will  work overtime for her/him

Streptomicin

LOL, not the worst idea, if I go home, first I have to fight with Wife/mother/kid to get some free time then to fight brother to get him of PC. Now 15 min overtime does not look that bad.

Well I have one with 7 queen sacs for you!

Streptomicin

This is very complicated position, and there are dangers for both sides. If white would play 1.e7 or .1g7 he would lose fast. 1...Da5!! and after 2.Ka5 Kb7! and mate with new Q on e1 (even bishop could finish the job). White Q could not stop that. And if after 3.Qh4 there goes 3...Nd2!! with mate on Nb3 or Nc4.

The position is white plays and draws (or one more help, stalemates him self). I will not post solution only after you gave right move for wihite I will give move for black. If you think that is to borring or cruel, I can post diagram with solution.

1.Qxc7+ Kxc7  2.e7   right so far ?

Streptomicin

Not even close.

7 queen sacs, 19 moves, stalemate.
