hey guess what stockfish can run for 50 minutes however the queen take the bishop is mate 2 best move guys solve this its mate 2 not mate 1 Im sorry whatever you thought was checkmate in 1 isn't checkmate in 1 its mate 2 every move almost is mate 2

Make the move 1.Nh4, which creates a discovered check by the rook. Then explain what black can do to stop it from being checkmate, causing white to make another move.

Kd4

Kd4 is not possible as the Bishop on a7 prevents it.
Nh4 is mate in 1.

There is mate in one. Stockfish solves this in less than 0.1 second. Also, anyone can solve it (it's mate in 1 after all), including you. But you prefer to make a complete fool of yourself by making ridiculous posts. That's also a good strategy.

MariasWhiteKnight

I have already explained how to find the move.

You literally merely have to identify all pieces that can check in the first place, and then test if black can fight back.

Its mate in one. Its not rocket science.

Beautiful chaos on the board! Rh6# — simple, sharp, and satisfying. Love puzzles like this.

Rh6 is not even check, let alone mate.

OK. Rxh5 to capture white Rook. Black Rook on H2 captures White Rook on H5 to eliminate check. You are correct about white Bishop protecting d4.

What are you talking about? How could you play Rxh5 after Nh4?

KentexplorerchessW

there is no mate 1 is mate 2

KentexplorerchessW

Im serious stockfish will say mate 2 not mate 1

KentexplorerchessW

fine Ill have stockfish 16 run for 10 minutes take a picture and show

KentexplorerchessW

b8 then to queen, checkmate

That's not checkmate.

Dude, you are 1200+ rated, you should know what is and what isn't mate.

can you tell why it's not mate?

Because Nf6 or Qf6 can be played which blocks the check.

There are no pinned pieces which usually make mate in 1s hard
