It took me 2 1/2 minutes to solve this one. It has a 50.4% pass rate, it's rated over 2600.

2 1/2 minutes is outrageous. 2 1/2 seconds is the most you could justify

Me too, and I also spent time looking at Qa5, but he just plays Rc8 to that.

There are quite a few puzzles like this even at high ratings, where - like here - you just take the hanging piece. But because the position itself looks like the answer is a common tactical theme like a back rank mate, or Qxf7, or whatever, people get it wrong. But the solution is just the simple capture, or the simple M1.

Like I said, 50.4% success rate on nearly 900 attempts.
