...yes, I missed that possibility too. This is quite a wonderful composition, but spoiled with so many ways for the knight to move.

On the one hand, DH Hersom's 1936 composition achieves this idea without duals. On the other hand, there is no additional strategy, like needing to route the b7-pawn down the a-file instead of the c-file to give black more tempi, or the white King's move to clear the e-pawn lane without getting checked later.
