If he would have taken the bishop white would have played 7...Qf2# so it would have been a mate in 7 anyway
Rc1 wins.. heh.. Queen cant capture the Rook.. because of Qxf3 followed by Qg2#

All I can say that the Black was very fortunate to be playing against such an opponent, as the White made some monumantally inappropiate moves.
