It's really not the same at all

They both pull from the same puzzle pool, same algorithm chosing them, and still are rated. I've done over 45,000 puzzles on the feature since it was released on Android and in my opinion it's not a drastic difference. I understand some people don't like it and there's an option to turn it off

Not on the iphone

There should be an option in the phone through the settings icon.

Found out a new version of the iOS app (4.7.1) will be out this week and the feature will be available to everyone then. So if you're seeing issues being able to turn the feature off, that should resolve it.

I don't get it. I don't get what it brings, except a new coaching feature - but the new point system, I just don't really get the why. It's good that we're able to deactivate features.

I don't care for the new puzzle format. With the previous game, I knew I would be playing puzzles that were challenging to my level, and I felt the drive to see if I could improve my rating. I probably won't use the new puzzle format. I don't know who would prefer the new format if they had spent any time using the previous format. Thanks for all you do, though. I really like the site overall and have been using it almost daily for about 3 years.

The new format uses the same puzzle selection algorithm and the puzzles are still rated. You can enable a setting to show the rating changes after puzzles as well.

I've been using the feature on Android for almost two years and like it. I have turned on the rating display because I also like to see that

I like it. The old system was getting a bit stale, plus the rating wasn't really representative of your skill anyway. Too easy for a mediocre player like me to get to 2000.

On the other hand I feel like I'm actually learning something from the new system.
