open-close extension

This is a correction of a nice puzzle in the "open-close" topic which has several duals on the first and later moves. This is one straight run home! Sorry for the many black pawns. The price of integrity.

For fun I added a B-assigment as well. Again white starts and checkmates in 7 moves but after the first move of the A-solution was played! You can only solve the A-puzzle interactively, for B you need an analysis board!

You're welcome. 90% is not my contribution though, only the two extra black pawns!

Parece que el camino nace con 1.Tf8-Kg7/g8, 2.Tg8+-Kh1. 3.Ng7 y analizar como se llega al mate por ese camino.

That's right ChessReina though you probably meant 1. ...Kg1/g2 happy The remainder of the solution is logical and not that hard! It's a mate in 7.

Replying a bit late but an incredible rewarding puzzle!

Thx! I'm not sure "late" exists here. Some respond to posts from 2007!

Thanks for this. I finally solved it with few tries.

Very beautiful puzzle!

I was looking for a while at this nice rook sacrifice line (mate in 8) but the solution is even better.

Thx! It's worth adding a twin with the rook sac. Later ...
