@Martin_Stahl shares that staff are currently working on redoing the puzzle rating system and it will be inaccurate ratings for a week or few.

Yes, or you can grind puzzles for a bit BEFORE this change and get your puzzles rating ridiculously high like I have (I gained over 1000 puzzle rating in like two sittings). xD

Who knows if there still will be a puzzle rating like we currently have. They keep saying they want to "[...] publish an entirely new rating system for puzzles". So maybe they are going for some tier-medal-system. At this point, I would not be surprised.
It's looking like it's fixed. I'm getting puzzles commensurate with my puzzle rating now. Of course, I've lost about 250 inflated points over the last few days.

My current rating is over 4000, gained 1500 over the last week or so. I thought puzzles had finally just clicked for me :-)
Sadly, no. Maybe you are better at puzzles now, but it's the rating system mostly. Oof.
Rating is over 4000?! Wow. Did you get 100%? I get 3600 and it still shows 99.9%
Since July 2025, almost all of my Rated Puzzles have been trivial. My puzzle rating is ~2400, yet I’m frequently served puzzles rated 300–700 (still in Rated mode). This doesn’t help learning and feels like artificial inflation. I pay for a membership primarily to learn, and right now I can’t.
Request: either (1) fix the selection logic so Rated Puzzles match the user’s rating, or (2) add a setting to choose between “easier” and “rating-appropriate” difficulty. If this behavior is intentional, please explain the rationale and how to opt out.
