Nice puzzle but the most safest/simplest way to victory is only 1 move more than the puzzle.

Since you like puzzle, solve the below puzzle.  Its a position after black's 4th move.  Good Luck

EDB123

Lord knows how that ended up happening. I'll guess at nc3?, but can you give me an objective. I should have put mate in 4 up there. By the way, my above puzzle was actually a real situation that happened to me, and that was how I played it.

EDB123

By the way, can I ask how that's legal?

EDB123

Another puzzle. Mate in 3

EDB123

Knew it.

EDB123
Mate in 5 for white. This is not a real game situation.
EDB123

messed that up a bit, but it would be mate anyway.

We all must know the classical puzzle how many same coloured pawns can a player have in a row but if both have a pawn row that has to be as big as opponents how many pawns in the row can they have both have? I mean like

TheMushroomDealer

and both have three pawns in a row

Twinchicky
This isn't so much a puzzle as just a very funny endgame. It actually occured in one of my own games.
EDB123

How about 6 in a row. Let me show my theory.

EDB123

And a puzzle. Mate in 12, just to pique interest.

TheMushroomDealer

the point was that both should have a row equal to their opponents

TheMushroomDealer

6 in row with one player is super easy

EDB123
TheMushroomDealer

is it possible that black has 6 pawns in a row and White has 6 in a row at the same time?

EDB123

No.

EDB123

Misread your post Arkimhedes.

TheMushroomDealer

it happens. Can you proof me that it is impossible :)?
