Puzzle difficulty levels broke today. "Extra hard" ... is NOT.

Hi everyone, I've noticed that recently the puzzles I'm receiving on Chess.com rarely go above 1800–1900 in difficulty. This is quite unusual, as I normally get puzzles rated 2500–2600, which is more in line with my puzzle rating of around 2500. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a reason why the system might be feeding me significantly lower-rated puzzles than usual? Thanks in advance for any insight!

There is a dozen of threads like this about superb changes in puzzle algorithms, just read them carefully

Idk but they usually dont let me do 4000 rated puzzles

I figured it out! It's hidden away, but there's a feature that allows you to change the difficulty of the puzzles

and everyone's is automatically set to standard, the lowest

so are puzzles just dead now or? getting 100 rated puzzles when the difficulty is set to very hard and ur puzzle rating is well over 2000 who tf programmed this

Sad to read that there is a generic problem and that the management does not keep us informed. Last days solving puzzles is hardly inspiring on this site. Glad I did not subscribe recently - I was considering a few times.

edit: I read that changes are coming. I will wait.
