Aren't all of those moves by white bad?

This is a possible end game in a game I'm playing now that I worked out. I have Houdini but not the end game files so I'm not sure if this is all the variations or not, but it is just a simple puzzle easy to screw up.

In the second one, yes, but black will win anyway. The reason I put those moves instead of better moves is because someone might just guess d4! without seeing what happens after R or Bxd4

I like this one because there is a lot of stuff going on in the position for someone to go astray. I checked it with houdini and it works

@chessgm8: 3.Re8# is more interesting.
No, I think 3. Re8# is more correct, but NxQ is more interesting. :-p

nameno1had, did you check that with an engine?! Cause, just looking at it, I feel like there has got to be some other mate.... The position just looks that crazy. Just a hunch.
Chess_persn, your puzzle is ambigious because white can take the material in a different order and still win. I would move the a7 knight to f8, making Re7 mate.
Yes, verified... I got it from an engine. It is the hardest checkmate test question there.

Hi, I'd like to submit the last 3 moves from my game as a puzzle, starting with 43 Kg1 (forced mate in 3).

I can't figure out how to generate a puzzle or I'd do the problem so everyone could see.
