Puzzles too easy

I know it's already been said, but I saw a video I think 3 weeks ago, saying puzzles system would be revisited again, but its not coming.

First of all I don't think players want to choose the difficulty of their problems and end up with a rating that means absolutely nothing.

Second of all, rating is supposed to reflect your level and how you compare to others, that's what everyone wants to see in a rating, not how many 1500 puzzles you can do in a row without choking.

Maybe you should poll the community before pushing the next update?

At this rate I wait to see a train wreck Netflix documentary of chess com, how it all went down because they didn't listen to the feedback on too easy puzzles and didn't change their system when they could have. How things went from bad to worse. How the system deteriorated the mental health of over a million people to always feel not good enough about themselves. Made them eventually feel so small that they turned into slugs 🐌 Or perhaps it's going to be on Disney+ for this fantasy element. The future hasn't been decided yet.

Just a bit of comic relief 😅 People who make puzzles or complete other people's self made puzzles (or custom ones) instead of completing ranked ones seem happier. I have not tried making puzzles. But I can see the benefits of that and other benefits of not doing the rated puzzles. Like not constantly feeling the frustration. Since rated puzzles & high puzzle ratings are just ridiculed endlessly by chess players. Unless actual change happens & extra hard setting gives actually extra hard ones. And that the elo ranking starts to reflect the puzzle ratings like u said.

It would be cool to have a whole community puzzles section where the username who did it would be showing under the puzzle. Those wouldn't have to be rated. Just for fun. It would bring up confidence of puzzle makers seeing how many times their puzzles have been played (much like mario maker) instead of affecting negatively on self esteem like rated puzzles do.

I searched the App Store, couldn't find any Chess Puzzle Maker. That could be a great new idea for an app, feel free to use it!
