{*} this good?
Came up with this.
7k/1Nq1r1pp/2P4N/3P3Q/2n5/5B1P/1B4P1/KR1R4 47.Rd1 Qa9+!
I then thought perhaps, something more glaringly obvious that Black is in serious trouble, if you have low level players. Or the kids may just prefer and enjoy something totally implausible.
7k/1Nq1r1pp/2P4N/1P4QQ/2n1B1Q1/7Q/1B6/KR1R4 56.Re1 Qa9+! (corrected fen)
Just a thought, perhaps a simple drawing on the wonky side may come across nicer than an image. If this appeals, perhaps contact the schools Art instructor and see if he/she would be interested in having her advanced students (because perspective is involved) come up with something, and the winner would receive a t-shirt. Of course you would be honor bound to accept one if they do it, no matter the outcome.
Whatever you decide to do, I would enjoy seeing the final outcome.
Edited to add : Sorry, not sure how to properly complete the Fen correctly.
In their infinite wisdom, my high school students have decided to name their chess team "Qa9".
Can't lie, made me LOL IRL. 🤯
We're trying to compose a chess problem where, if the a9 square was allowed, Qa9!! would be a brilliant queen sac or something along those lines. But no luck so far.
So if anyone would have fun with this, please take the challenge!
The plan would be to put the problem on a T-shirt. You'd get a free copy of the T-shirt (customized with your name and arbitrary player number, and without the local highscool stuff) and if you'd like we could attribute the problem to your name on either all the shirts or just your shirt.
