Um… you either need a passion for puzzles, or a lot of available resources. You will also need to have a flexible mindset that is not held back by any kind of restraints regarding what you can do, but rather what you can’t do.
Solving the Puzzle Is Only the Beginning!

Having solved thousands of puzzles over the years, and having reached a high score of just over 2400, I thought I was pretty good. But lately I've started to choose some of the more complex puzzles that I've "solved" and hit the little target icon at the bottom, which allows you to then play out the position against the (3200) computer. Were my eyes opened!! Whereas the evaluation bar tells me I have an overwhelming advantage, I have yet to defeat the computer from a won position. I find that this kind of exercise at least once a day is both incredibly humbling and very instructive. As we've heard hundreds of times before, it's one thing to have a won game. It's quite another to actually win it.
