Would not have secured mate as 32 qh6...qa3 33 qf8..qxf8 there are probably other winning chances after move 22

I think it was more inspiration than strong thinking,but as NM REB points out 32 qd6 brings mate quicker however i seen mate from the line posted in the puzzle a few moves out so unfortunately did not see the quicker 32 qd6

Yes i did not look at it i must confess well spoted maybe thats why the puzzle is called the Irish Answer WE LIKE TO DO THINGS THE HARD WAY LOL
