This isn’t that hard. I got it in 5 minutes.

maybe you practiced much harder puzzles than this before, that way you found this easy, but for most of the users here this puzzle is so difficult to solve in their first attempt... its a pretty hard puzzle tbh.

I got 2 hints then later solved it on my own

I'm gonna be honest, it took me around 40minutes to solve this puzzle, at first i tried moving White's bishop around to give checks but it didn't work out and then i tried moving king side pawns to deliver a check with them to the Black's king but no matter how i check it shows incorrect, as time passed i got numb and thought of taking a hint but again i refused to do so and tried tried tried finally idk why but i moved pawn to c6, like literally i had no idea on the logic in moving the pawn at first but i just moved and when it showed correct i got all motivated and then i played two moves right and again got the third move wrong but then i finally got it!

Truly amazing puzzle... not at all ez.

The only thing I can see here is it kills their B file and opens up your other c file pawn through a sacrifice. Hope this helps.

what's the answer?

Birdie_9990
maybe, it starts with check, because if i dont check black's king, and move something else, Qe1 goes to c1 , so it starts with check!!!

I don't agree. I struggled a lot to solve it because I didn't find any resource for white, but when I solved it with hints and I watched again the position, it was all clear. An IM or a GM would solve this very easily. The key is to realize that black's queen is almost trapped, and only the f2 square is sarebbe, and to see that Bc7 Ba5 threatens the queen. Once you see this, you undes

Sorry, understand that you need to play a forceful move before, and it's based on the pretty common concept of attracting the king to play a knight fork. c3 threatens promotion and opens up the diagonal allowing this tactic, and that's it. If you know how proceed, it ain't difficult. The problem is that it's very country intuitive, in particular for players below 2000 elo, or even more.
