A vote for Martos.
What is the best chess puzzle??? ~ I need your help!! - 2

@ BigDoggProblem: Thanks for your comment...
The level of this puzzle is easy. So, to get the king out of the pin while the queen aiming for Qg8+ is under attack, is also easy to see.
Anyway, if I have the right to vote, the most interesting puzzle for me belongs to Asorski.

This is embarrassing. I missed the illegal position in Alcor. Switch my vote to Martos.
There are too many extraneous pieces in Asorki's puzzle to satisfy my aesthetic standards.
Ziryab: this is more of an elementary tactics puzzle.
y2721: has many unnecessary pieces, and there are no black defensive moves, because he can't defend both threats.
stephen_33: just how many unnecessary pieces are there? I count 19 (!):
terry_verona: white simply makes more threats than black can possibly defend. Getting out of the pin and opening up the line for Qg8 makes the key very obvious.martos: a nice problem with 6 variations after the key. The only drawback is that the key takes a flight (d4), making it more obvious.
alcor: simple zugzwang problem in which the K just moves to the square where he can't be checked. There are some ugly duals, too; on 1...Rh8, both 2.Qxh8 and 2.Qg7 mate, for example.
asorski: another zugzwang problem, but it suffers from a sense of symmetry. What do I mean? Well, let's look at a diagram that shows all the mating squares.
Every mating move is mirrored around the black K. The advantage of having 'more' variations is lost, since really they are all just duplicates of their mirror counterpart.
For me, the choice is clear. martos has easily the best problem in this group.
