White mates in three by S.P.Tsirulik

10 seconds. The solution is because the composers are biased towards "unnatural" looking moves - and so we consider the ridiculous options first.

Nice but fairly easy as closing Black's options right down always a top candidate

Easy indeed but there is a nice variation after 1. ... Bf2! as well.

I know it was fairly easy I just like it.I couldn't tell you why.Being hard to solve wasn't why for sure.

Probably works in 2 moves with Q - f3 then mate. After b-h1, moving up the pawn h3 gets the K an extra move so the puzzle isn't really correct as it is.

The pawn moves from h2 to h1 as black pawns mostly do. The problem is correct.

@ pawn8888 was just thinking how many puzzles would be scrapped if you could move pawns backwards.
