why do puzzles not fail if check/pin is overlooked?

Hi all.

I only recently got into puzzles and while trying to bend my brain around some of them, I got into situations where I attempted to move a pinned piece or even completely missed that the puzzle begins in check (example: #1205524). On attempt to do something silly, like ignoring said check or moving the pinned piece, I get a helpful buzzing sound and effectively a "try again" situation. While this is nice and helpful in an actual game *cough*, given the intent of the puzzle, namely to spot and analyze a situation and find the best move, I feel such a lack of insight should result in an instant fail of the puzzle. Like any other wrong move.

Anyone able to comment? Thanks!

P.S. If this is in the wrong subforum, please move wherever appropriate. Thanks.

You have a good point. I agree that such attempts should count as a fail.

At the very least, the principles of touch move should be implemented.
