x=y

x^2=yx

x^2-y^2=yx-y^2

(x+y)(x-y)=y(x-y)

x+y=y

y+y=y

2y=y

if x is 2 and y is 2, thenit equals 2+4 because y=2y, but then it becomes 4+4 because x=y, then 4+6 then 6+6 and so on.

therefore, 2+2=[error 503]

Why did you stop there? Let's continue:

2+2 = error503

error = (2+2)/503

e*o*r^3 = 4/503

... ok, what now? I'm stumped.

since menamedwert stated that 2+2=? and we know that 2+2=[error 503], we can get ?/503=4/503

but then that makes ?=4

the answer 4 is the sum of x and y, as shown in post 4, but we know that x=y and 2y=y so 4=2=1=1/2=1/4=1/8 and so on, so we get error 503 again

if error 503 shows up in everything, then the meaning of life, the universe, and everything is not 42. It is error 503

everything is error 503

resistance is futile

If 2x = x+1, as stated in 1+1=2, 2+2=2+1, which is 3.

Nothing in this universe can share or be an exact clone of anything The reason for this is space. Space cause two objects to differ because of their position relative to each other. One cannot equal another. If there is only one of a kind, how can you add another of the same, and then say you have two of the same? To me it is scientific religion, so I doubt if members can have empathy with this value. I believe that two particles can be identical, and that space is what cause them to be unique.

In all seriousness though... 2 plus 2 is 4, minus 1 that's 3 quick maths.

2 is twice the number of 1 therefore 4 1s is 4
