Chess and forums will be your antiboredom. And you will find love again. Give others a chance. I would never recommend a pet for companionship. Unless one is too old or very sick.
@bong711 - thanks! Having pets is a huge responsibility. I had a pets once, dogs and cats... I'll never have them again!

Spending too much time with pets make one terribly antisocial. Humans belong to humans. Playing chess, forums, private chatting are human online socializing. If you really need a pet companion, get a cat. Never buy a large parrot. It's most demanding.

The society is chaotic. TV and movies rarely display functional family and individuals. We are programmed to be dysfunctional by the media. And given animosity, we display our inner self in forums. We cannot be ourselves in the society of laws, rules, regulations, norms, customs, etc.
Anyone wanna play a nice lady?
Then there is the type of person who is on page 12 of this thread and notices no posts on that page yet...….then looks up and sees there is a page 13 ?!...where again there are no posts
