1st week of July---most important---see why!!!!

Hello everybody.Thank you  for spending your valuable time for reading this post.

      My name is saketh and I am a boy of 13 and I belong to nation India.The 1st week of july is celebrated as "VANAMAHOTSAV"

VANA means trees and MAHA means great and Utsav means fesival.

We have,in our school,week long celebration about this.

Today was the last day.A speech was given by the cheif guest of the program conducted in the school.I was naturally inspired by it.He stated "let the others know the importance of trees".Well it was not the line from which I was impressed.I would like to express it in my own view.

This festival is celebrated in India and millions of trees are  planted.

I would like to make the people of other countries to know this.

Trees!!!!!We all know the importance of it.But we are mercylessly cutting those trees,result global warming is increasing and the ozone layer is getting some holes in it.If we join them together the size of hole is the size of biggest continent-Asia.Please,as a human plant atleast one tree and inspire others to do so.Conserve the environment.

THESE ARE "MY"VIEWS ON ENVIRONMENT.

I know its off topic.I don't have a facebook account so I am posting it here.Hope people will understand it and plant a sapling atleast once a month.

In my society many people currently fear and sneer at knowledge and science, taking for granted the many wonders these things provide. They are too lazy and shortsighted to forestall their own self-destruction. But things always change, maybe they will change for the better.

I think preserving the environment is like preserving peace, you cannot do it completely but every contribution to that cause is a good one.
