I wonder what Watts would think of this comment. He'd probably be like "Bravo, you have learned that all truth is relative and that human perception is skewed." Oh, btw, There's a guy with an IQ of 200 who has proven this false. He's knows as The Smartest Man in The World.

Einstein believed in miracles.

I think you just need a logical explanation for them. Things that simply happen do so because they can. That's a reason. Some things are impossible because the structure of reality prevents interference. Even in a universe without truth, 2 plus 2 is still four.

We live in a society based on social constructivism. Everything, the media, the news, the internet, it's all a lie. People don't realize that truth is based off the perspectives of different people with different perspectives, and no single way of lookin at the world is objectively correct, as logic as I have explained before is a convention. Therefore I would like to start my own society on chess.com called the 2 + 2 = 5 society that proves that logic is a social convention. Anyone can join. Those who do not I would consider Fascists, who vie that there is only one way of reasoning. Finally, however, there is a ground of mutual agreement between ideological belief systems.

Oh my God. Another stupid pretending to be a pseudo intellectual.

I just hope you do not say things like this in real life...

Human gradually develop math and come up with new concept such as infinity. Our understanding of it to get better.

Some math hypothesis are also gradually being solved.Perhaps there are some math hypothesis to come up in the future.

This new ideas from nothingness are as though of miracles.

They are not. There are tons of examples of miracles. In fact, for a lot of people, miracles are just one more reason to stay alive.

Also, @dubious. I would like not to start an very heated argument on the forums. What happened to "Please be relevant, helpful, and nice?". Let's PM if you want to talk about it....

Actually what a miracle is IS based by ignorance not comprehending such an outcome, giving you such a concept.

Avatar of ChumpDavis123

Miracles do exist, they just require logical explanations

Avatar of ThePEPSIChallenge

The 'concept' Miracle is because logically to an ignorant point of view removed from spiritual aspects, and am not intententionally attempting to religiously debate, loses sight it's possibility.

Avatar of ThePEPSIChallenge

Miracle : "RECEPTIVITY" to Truth.

Avatar of ThePEPSIChallenge

Without getting too religious what do you think "Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be open unto you." brings?

That which is known to be such the CONcept 'miracle'.

ALWAYS equaling a correct equation. Not 2+2 = 5

I'm having a hard time understanding Pepsi. I don't know how to correctly assess the correct definition of a miracle, but magic does indeed exist. It's called free will, the potential for something to exist in different forms. However, no matter how much magic you have, I think two plus two is always equal to four. I guess Cubronzo has a point, but how can we define perceptual experience as an illusion if we are in fact perceiving? How can you say that .. plus .. isn't .... if calculators always say it is correct? Such big questions, few big brains to solve them.

So you are redefining miracles as not miracles. Because a miracle is defined as something for which there is no logical explanation. That is not ignorance! Scientists say they aren't sure how the universe came about. Is that ignorance? No, they just don't know. Now I believe that the Bible is true. However, I ( as opposed to post-modernists) can actually back up my claims with scientific facts and well researched books by well renowned sources
