A philosophy thread.
There are several.. Including those who have since lost part, {or all}, of their physical attractiveness, through aging.
I thought that, the actress who starred in the 1980s', "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", was cute! ..{the one, with the unmistakenly, 'fair' white skin ..soon-to-be-posted}.

'Scratch' my previous, 'pick.' -- A younger "Bridget Fonda" wins my personal choice, {among just about every 'gal'}, 'hands down'!

My wife is stunned there are so many famous people dying this year. I watched a film last night on the telly ..... Elvis in Viva Las Vegas. And everything was about self-glorification, how he can sing the best, drive the fastest, how he's attractive to women, how he's kind and loving and wonderful. Of course, the reality is he was a self-obsessed drug addict who hadn't a clue how to live after he made it big and surrounded himself with people he could order about. Why do people think they should be upset about these people??
As for Hinduism, I stayed at an ashram in the Himalayan foothills near the Banihal Pass and there was this Brahmin guru who spent all his time out of his head on whisky and cannabis. When the respectable ladies of the village came up the hill with meals specially prepared for him as Puja and he was completely out of his head, he climbed a cherry tree where he could stay hidden and asked me to tell these ladies I didn't know where he was. I liked him, actually. Forgotten his name though. Hinduiism is fun, sort of. It's more personal than some religions because to some extent you choose who you worship, but the caste system in Hinduism is completely corrupt and disgusting. All religions are open to abuse and in India there's an enlightenment industry where people pretend to be enlightened masters. If they lived here they'd be running a small shop or in a factory, making baked beans.
I was in Goa for at least two months back in 76. I walked virtually the whole coastline, fording rivers. I found beaches where I was the first white man for two years. But Goa was full of criminals, escaping pursuit, where they had people that would cover for them and whom they could blend in with. I believe Goa's changed now. I'd like to go back to India but not there. Maybe odd places like Gwalior, Mandi, Mysore City etc. Not too touristy.

they're upset because they know they will never see these others perform again.
which makes those performers that die young even more iconic because people are always thinking how much better they could have been, when, what we see is that those that grow old simply grow old.
