Oh my god I’ve had dreams about things that happen days later- sometimes the actual moment is a bit different but I feel deja vu. I once had a dream about 3 years ago about a Moment in time and that exact moment happened about like a week ago-

did u read everything or only the deja vu
what happens when you sleep? according to Richard P Feynmann, it is possible to think two different things when sleeping. but where do you go? do you go unconscious, or is the only time that you are truly conscious? your brain takes full control of your body and your thoughts, but in other times in the day, you just, zone out. then you lose your brains control, in those short moments. you don't think or anything, so what is sleep is the only time we are conscious? our brain forces us to say things, like you tell your mom you are going to do drugs with your girlfriend in the house, and you say in your head" DO NOT SYA THAT DO NOT SAY THAT" but at sleep, there is nothing holding the brain back, and the brain truly becomes what it is perceived as, as a true command center. but when you say "do not say that" that is your subconscious, or is it just your conscious? that "do not say that" is your true conscious rising up, when it only rises up during sleep, to stop you. that conscious projects all your thoughts, so, is sleep the true conscious, or is sleep actually unconsciousness, and the subconscious is truly, the unconscious?
or is sleep unconsciousness, the beginning of death? what if the brain makes us awake to avoid that death, that period of death. what if sleep is how death is, and being awake is the last grip of reality we have?
people who do not sleep go insane, but because of sleep deprivation, proving that if my theory is correct, people need a little bit of death every day?
if my upper theory is also correct, then there is no afterlife, no reincarnation, all you will ever have is endless sleep, dreams, and your last grip on consciousness is just, gone. like that.
or of course, i could be entirely wrong
i wrote this in another club to lazy to rewrite
I experience deja vu at least once a month... I am thoroughly convinced that reality is a continuous cycle that repeats infinitely, and our unconscious minds keep recollections of what happens to us. Maybe they (our unconscious minds) reveal things that occurred in the past/present/future when we sleep.

i experience deja vu a lot too.
but what if its our conscious minds revealing the things that occur? what if the conscious makes you forget these things, and you experience the deja vu in your awake time, which COULD be your unconsciousness, which is when the brain isn't on full watch, and those small memories slip back to you? maybe this is why deja vu happens, and why sometimes you can't remember your dreams, because those are the ones with deja vu.
this also implies that we all can theoretically predict the future, just it's impossible to remember.
Dreams are my literal favorite thing to discuss
I agree with your theory, your dreams are when your brain is truly awake
My dreams have taught me things I hadn’t realized about myself until much later in my life
It’s cool hehe
Also I have a really vibrant imagination
I dream about the most detailed things it’s weird
I brought this up because the topic of deja vu and predicting the future came up
Hear me out
On average, people experience deja vu VERY rarely, if at all (approximately 35% of the population does not experience it)
@Nennerb wrote they experience dela vu once a month, which is considered extremely often and very rare...
I experience it about once a week.
Experienced it yesterday, by the way.
Now, most of my experiences with deja vu last just a second or two and are nothing special
However, there are very rare times when something...different happens
About half a year ago, I experienced deja vu.
However, instead of an instant memory as most deja vu cases are (they seem like you’re experiencing something familiar), this one was different.
I felt that I could see the future.
And, indeed, as the next few events unfolded over the next ten seconds, they exactly matched what I had predicted and the feeling of deja vu being a memory did not go away until all the events finished happening.
Even more surprisingly, the events were completely unrelated and had no relationship with each other.
Weird.
If anyone is wondering, yesterday’s deja vu happened while watching a show that I had just started...
But, the deja vu happened at a plot twist...I hadn’t expected it...or had I, since I experienced deja vu?
I really went off track, haven’t I hehe.
I’d love to discuss dreams, but I’m actually going to sleep, and I’d rather do it tomorrow after sleeping (I haven’t had dreams the past few nights because we’ve been going to sleep late like 3/4 a.m. which affects my ability to have dreams)
Anyway I’ll see y’all tomorrow
Goodnight, sweet dreams.

that is really deep. i agree with everything here. one time, when i was around 7, i was eating pancakes on the bar, and i was chekcing my ipad, and went to another chair. i had a deja vu that i would fall onto the edge of the bar, and split my chin. it was exactly like how it happened with you, except immediately after my chin got split open, i lost all memory of seeing the very near future.
really something to mull over, huh?
quite interesting how you experience it so often. i experience it once every 2 weeks
