Being at the 1984 Olympics in LA sounds like quite a fun project HessianWarrior. The closest thing to a fun project for me was back around 1980 when the late Gene Wilder was involved in making a movie called " The Silver Streak ". Our shop did some mods on the locomotives used in that film, a lot of the train scenes were done here in Alberta.

That must have great change of pace for you Baden; I looked it up and it was 1976 and was a very good film. It still has a 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

one of the worst things about the trades that i observed is that those that are known as suits would regularly look down upon construction workers. and, in my years, some of the brightest people i've met have been those blue-collar people.
allow me to put it another way. if your hot water heater dies, or, if a pipe springs a leak on a sunday, are you capable of fixing it?
it's why those in the trades make what they do.

That is true Al, and if the blue collar worker knows how to take care of the good money they are making then they are way ahead.

You are fake Al, and you know it. But what do I know.
Do not bait people into an argument or you are gone. Only one warning.

Hey kaynight, how about this?

Btw, I think I didn't miss one event from LA '84, despite the hours and the fact I was only 12. Glad to know you helped to such a success!
Now that is impressive Pulp.
