Yes and that's what I was asking before, what determines the magnitude of 1 degree with Celsius or Farenheit. How does 2 starting points determine the rest of the scale. If at one point water freezes and 100 points away water boils, what exactly is each degree in between a measurement of? Something to do with the rate of heat retention in water molecules or something?
