Chapter 3

A lot of you probably heard of the Time War, but not many know how it began. The few who know of the beginning and what happened don't even know why exactly it started.

Here is the very first Battle in the Time War:

It all started with @Nightly-Knight posting "May 14 1:01 PM" in this chat with @Tonyhoang645, @katie848 and @isaacw13467.

The scary question is, why did Nightly-Knight post May 14 1:01 PM when it was 2:16 PM for him? The answer is too be known by all of you soon, but only Nightly knows at this moment happy.png

What really happened was Nightly was counting points for the Road to GM Membership Race and when he is done counting for tournaments he posts the time that the last one was in a chat with an inactive account. Nightly accidentally posted the time in the wrong chat (the group chat with the three mentioned members)

As you saw in the picture above @Katie848 replied saying "It's 12:15" From there the argument only got bigger

After a little bit of arguing on time Katie said "uhhhhhhh fine" with a facepalm emoji. This was the end, Nightly thought, but it wasn't.

It soon turned into a spam battle

Note: Everyone in the chat but Nightly-Knight lives in Pacific Time

The Time War became a mess when Nightly posted a Time War thread in the forums HERE  After this @TonyHoang645 made another Time war Topic HERE In which he called together all PDT supporters to help overcome the CDT.

Only about one person came in to defend Nightly and help in telling what the true time was however, lots of Pacific timers came in to support the three who started the war against the Central time.

Then the editing of comments came along...

The quoting and editing of quotes went on for some time until the accusations of Time Travel came along. Time Travel was first mentioned in private chat between @Katie848 and @Nightly-Knight. The arguing had (for some unknown reason) started in their private chat as well.

The War continued with three sides now.

@asdfghjkl123467898 Fighting on the opposite side of the day as PDT and CDT. asddfghjkl1234567898 was fighting for YEKT time which is 12 hours ahead of PDT.

Finally @TonyHoang645 suggests some peace terms.

Sad part is that both players didn't do well and it ended in 1 win for each player. The War did not get settled.

The first Game Nightly wins with only 36 accuracy!

The next game was much higher performance for both sides but Nightly made a big blunder and gave it all up.

So after this the war continued.

The Next day new peace terms were suggested.

Nightly and his small team of CDT suggested making UTC the true time to stop the raging War. PDT did not agree with this and continued to ask for a match

Nightly agreed to this and said he'd look for someone to play their chosen player.

At this point Nightly began looking around for someone to play for him when Katie chats him and says "Can I go on your side?"

Nightly says Yes, and is very suspicious. Katie goes ahead and posts the Central time in the Time Wars Forum and then announces that @Nightly-Knight will be playing for Central time. Nightly decides to leave it alone and let her post the "True Time" there and make up stuff about Nightly Playing.

During this Nightly goes to @Stormy who was playing in R2GM's 24 Hour arena and asks if he will play for him. While waiting for the response Nightly continues with the war.

(The time of this moment it was 2:27 CDT)

STORMY replied to Nightly a while later accepting the challenge and thus the organization of the Official Winning Match would take place.

At this time @Katie848 Made a comment in the Time Wars Forum with the PDT time. Nightly asked why she betrayed him and she replied "I didn't" then posted the CDT time. Nightly-Knight's suspicions of her only grew from there

The PDT team chose @Prince_USA to be their player and they got angry with the CDT (if they weren't already) because STORMY was not in the CDT time zone thus it shouldn't count. However, the two did play a game with each other that was called a "Friendly game"

@Nightly-Knight argues that STORMY is on the CDT team thus the game should count. However, the PDT people were stubborn and will not let go.

The Match being valid was canceled as STORMY agreed it was a just for fun match.

The next suggestion for peace was two clubs be made and a Daily match held between them. This fell apart too soon. (suggested by @GradyW15925267)

After this Nightly suggests that two articles are written explaining how each side's time zone is better and STORMY will judge which side was more convincing. This only fell apart, though when Prince_USA said the war was a waste of time and he unfollowed the topic.

The Next peace terms were a new Daily Match between the growing Eastern Time army and the Pacific. The big thing that happened here was that Central formed an allegiance with Eastern to stop Pacific in one big match. The CDT/EDT team challenged the PDT team and a team match was set up.

Sooner  rather than later the Team Match idea kind of fell apart.

@Nightly-Knight then made this picture for fun phpTo3F2e.png

The War is still ongoing but mostly everything is calmed down. It seems that the only way to solve this problem is just settle that the UTC Time Standard is the best way to have it.
