I don’t fully agree with #81.
The first thing you do is get wood for a crafting table and wooden pick.
Then, get a furnace and a full set of stone tools.
Carve a base into the side of a wall.
Get more logs with the axe and turn it into charcoal. Craft a campfire and the rest into torches to light up your base.

Day 2, make a wheat farm, kill some animals and roast the meat on a campfire.
Start making an animal farm too.
Don’t waste wool on carpet, use a door on the inside to climb and escape.
(If you close a door so you end up inside the door, jump twice to climb up.)

Minecraft sucks dude
Step one; survey your spawn point for hazards, resources, and other factors
Step two; mine three logs
Step three; craft them into a crafting table and pickaxe
Step four; dig down to stone layer and mine 17 stone
Step five; craft the stone into a furnace, two axes , and a pickaxe
Step six; mine logs until your first axe breaks
Step seven ; kill as many animals as you can, but leave two of each species, if possible. (Sheep are the priority)
Step eight; cook the meat, turn a fourth of your wood into charcoal, and craft a bed
Step nine; craft torches and place them.
Step ten; choose a natural formation as a base, and observe it so you know how to change it for yourself, and craft ladders(optional), trapdoors/doors, and mine dirt, and make a base
Step eleven; craft or mine, or sleep in your bed
