American accomplishments

What are some of USA's accomplishments that you think are especially noteworthy?

  The Interstate before they ruined it.

 A major downfall of the country was buckling under to the Global Bankers via their branch office, the "Federal" Reserve.

Magnum PI. Especially his relationship with Higgins. Magnum was the American tough guy. Higgins had his British bulldog roots and upper class accent.

That is an ironic joke that you will only get if you are a Magnum fan or grew up in the early 80's watching it.

My favorite is the moon landing which never happened.

Hey! Moon landing! That was still a great achievement! Stanley Kubrick did awesome camera work and direction for that.

The Pasadena Gaolhouse is a great American accomplishment. Bobby Fischer was beaten up in it.
