I'm not a Chris Rock fan but I have a lot of respect for him with how mature he handled it.  Will Smith just looks like a spoiled punk.  But honestly,  his wife Jada is the one mostly responsible.  Will was laughing at that joke until Jada made it clear she wasn't happy about it.. This manipulation of Will goes back years.  Look up the cheating and Wills obsession over keeping her from leaving. 

I remember Jimmy Swaggart cried on tv too. 

It’s always nice to know rich folk can still get together and tell one another how great they are. And then THROW DOWN! Mercy, mercy get outta the kitchen and hang up the phone! 

All actors, fakes, and frauds. It’s how they make a decent living. One thing for certain, it got people talking. No such thing as bad pub eh?

I think I understand why this happened. Well let me just say that I'm currently in California but I'm originally from Philadelphia, specifically west Philadelphia. Anyways, I was having a similar discussion with a friend of mine, it actually occurred in a basketball court. At some point during the conversation, a couple of  guys who were up to no good, essentially started making trouble at my neighborhood. I then got into one little fight and my mom got scared and she said "You're moving with your aunt and uncle in Bel-Air." 

I still say it was a staged event. Rock and Smith planned it before the ceremony. Just like the championship wrestlers do. It went down perfectly. They are getting a ton of attention (which is always good) and they have created a buzz about the Oscars that will resonate for years. Many have said that the Oscars had become an old and tired event that lacked luster and was downright boring. This one staged event has turned it all around. Kudos to Rock and Smith for an Oscar worthy performance!

A crazy coincidence here:  that basketball court that is at the start of The Fresh Prince show,  I've played on that exact court.  I briefly lived in west Philly too & would go over there.  I think it's a school, it had very high fences around it, I guess to keep the balls from bouncing into the streets. But yeah,  I've been there.
