Now, this is where things get complicated in the Usual Suspects / the mad hacker case.
In the movie Gabriel Byrne plays Keaton aka Firstplay. Keaton is seen as the leader of the gang in the movie all the way to the last scene.

Firstplay was the first in the Chess.com gang suspected of being hacked as suddenly there were posts on his thread from 2 different Firstplays. No sooner had the mad hacker appeared & boom he was gone in 7 hrs with 2 posts to his credit and a deleted account.

Then within hours of that happening the mad hacker appeared again. This time Frenchbasher's account was hacked & 1 post appeared with the account  again been deleted.
Now, this is the crux of the case - are we looking for one person or 2 different people?
1) Firstplay - hacker
2) Frenchbasher -hacker
3) One hacker - hacked both accounts

Det Kujan is pretty certain that Firsplay / Keaton would not be hacking his own account.
Besides Keaton & Kujan were  in the same room together when the hack occured

Viewers, it's not all that complicated.

the 2nd Firstplay account is SPELLED differently. Was a New Account. Again, I will assure you

1. Firstplay

2. FirstpIay

ARE SPELLED DIFFERENTLY

NOBODY'S ACCOUNT WAS HACKED (accessed by someone other than the owner)

Okay highlight the difference in red, no more games.

Maybe MD should pm Hess about it. I think the fewer people who can figure it out the better. Wink

Thanks WB - we have a treat in store from Meximartini coming soon. He is doing a video.

He has promised something radical

mdinnerspace

Say what? You keep insisting Nik someone's account was hacked, possibly creating doubt about the security of Chess.com. I deleted how usernames are spelled differently but appear the same. FRENCHBASHER and FRNCHBASHER was obvious but fooled many.

Stephen Baldwin plays McManus
aka Mdinnerspace
Ex Military & Explosives expert
Lightening quick reflexes

A hired gun & a professional crimminal
It was apparent when he was young
that he would be violent.
He was caught tearing the arms
off action man at 8 yrs old

A love for fast cars & loose women
Meant that McManus's adrenaline junky lifestyle
Could only lead two different
professions on leaving the army
A cop or a robber
A cop's salary could hardly pay for the women
Let alone the fast cars that he liked

When group work is slow McManus goes back to what he knows best - killing people
When biz gets slow killing people
He offers 2 for 1 killings on Tues
3 for 2 killing on Wed

Det. Kujan's after reviewing the McManus CCTV tapes just hrs ago was looking somewhat shocked. The CCTV showed a man & a woman standing near a car in the rain at 23:34 on the night of the mad hackers hacking

However, by 00:05 on the tape, with the flashes of lightening illuminating the scene, the man was seen with his trousers around his ankles & bent over the bonnet of his sports car.
The woman a known prostitute,  Miss Shover had a plastic item strapped to her waist & when the lightening flashes appeared you could clearly see her thrusting her hips vigorously.

This was all too confusing for Det. Kujan who had not slept for 3 days, was snorting more than sleeping & could not figure out why you would be out in the rain when you
had a perfectly good car to thrust in.
Kujan thought that was a little weird
Anyway another suspect case sorted thought Kujan reaching for a $20 bill.

If someone were able to hack an account (not knowing the password) it would mean they were able to get around the firewalls and security programs of chess.com. I have never heard of it happening, although I'm sure it would not be published.

Creating new accounts with multiple log in is a big problem. It is not the same as hacking into an account.

It's a mad cap comedy of errors here, see Mad Mad World posts by Wolfbird

What if it was Frenchbasher pretending to be a pale imitation of Frenchbasher?

What a mindbender.  Peter pretending to be French guy pretending to be himself in his French persona.

And and and he went back in time to prevent his parents from ever meeting, but to do so would mean......

....I am so relieved that some people get where I am coming from.....Sealed
