Back when I first learned to play the game, the 4-move checkmate was accurately labeled "The Fool's Mate"

The Scholar's Mate and Fool's Mate are two different checkmates.

I always liked, for White;

e4-Bc4-Qf3-Qxf7

But 2) Qh5, is more difficult to stop!

Those two diagrams are not four move checkmates , the moves shown are more than four moves ! 🤷‍♂️

Black does have to move 3...) Nc6 for it to work, however.
