both my brother has an android and my mom has an apple
Apple or Android?????

I would say android simply because of the way it is designed to be so open, free, adaptable, and versatile. You can easily create your own apps on adroid using Java and sell them on the market. It is compatable with an amazing range of different hardware and I even have an android device with USB connection. On the other hand, Apple has everything in Apple such as no USB connection on ipads and having its own kind of charging port. Android usually uses standard micro USB ports. Android has surpassed the iphone in sales and although apple is well established and widely trusted for its strong reputation, android is still growing much faster. By the way did anyone notice that apple has the red sith lightsabers and android has the Jedi lightsabers in the picture. That's a nice and illustrative picture you found there os808.

Ha ha, its kind of funny. Two very futuristic looking robots fighting visciously to see who could better keep us amused and connected to the world

where did you get those numbers from? Were you asking people before creating this forum?

Before you buy an android do a search for android in the forums and look at how many posts their are about problems people are having with their devices and then compare by doing a search for apple.

Is selling a product for $200 that stops working after a year evil?
"I can’t find one person who has been using the Nexus 7 for an extended period of time, and hasn’t seen a massive downgrade in performance. Just what kind of downgrade are we talking here? I cannot pick up my Nexus 7 without experiencing problems like a lag of ten seconds, or more, just to rotate the display; touches refusing to acknowledged; stuttering notification panel actions; and unresponsive apps.
I tried the basics at first, like a factory reset. I then moved onto drastic measures, like rooting and installing CyanogenMod 10.1 (which I thought would surely fix everything, since I’ve used faster devices with lesser hardware, and performance problems were merely a lack of software optimization). And nothing seems to work."
