One would have to first believe that Evil exists to answer the question.

You hear about toddlers accidentally killing parents/siblings or that 9 y.o. girl killing her instructor with an uzi...
You can flush the "people are evil" argument down the toilet.
It's Evil - no question about it.
You people are not living in the real world and utopia is not just around the corner. The barbarians are alive and well cutting off heads and burning and raping. If you want to wait for someone to protect you and your family you go right ahead with that. Most "Men" I know are willing to arm themselves and take on that responcibility. But then I'm an Ex-Marine (USMC). We take care of business with out hesitation.

I agree with you Feufollet. And again, the simple question is "what is the purpose of guns" or "for what are guns made". And the answer is obviously to kill other human beings. Totally crazy that people try to get more guns to defend themselves instead of trying to abolish guns...

Rick you are ignoring the fact that is most possible that a gun can make an accident than protect you in ''real world'' we are living aka democratic countries from Europe, America and Asia. I told you safer alternatives to guns, but again, you're ignoring that.

No. Cars are useful to people, they save lives and can carry products. Guns are useless, a world where civilians can't have guns would be the same, only safer.

Sorry but thats a totally stupid comparison. With guns you purposely kill other humans. Of course there are many car accidents but thats something completly different.

Imagine getting shot dead on the street by some toddler who removed the gun from his dad's waste while this latter was busy trying to strap the kid in his car seat...or some stupid shit like that...just google gun child toddler kid kills
I pray to God that my gun is useless. I never want to have to use it. But if that situation ever did happen I would be thankful that I have that option. But I guess you don't understand that and I pray you will never be put in a situation that you needed one and did not have one. Let me be frank, My ultimate trust is in the sovereignty of God. But I do have the responcibility to protect my family and that is not just calling 911 and hopeing some one will come in time. I have no more to say. If you don't want a gun then don't have one and mind your own business. That is how most Americans feel about the issue.

People keeping guns in their homes is not a problem to me...accidentally killings that goes on in there is none of my business...but I don't want to go to a bar, a movie theatre or a restaurant where all the idiots in there are packing...
Nobody's gonna be saving anybody if they hear a gun go off - it's gonna be everybody's gonna be shooting at everybody...just like they do in any panic situations...only this time instead of, stampeding each other to death they'll be shooting at each other to death.
So it is my business for my safety that people don't carry guns in public -- it is shared space.

I don't need a gun. In my country if you have a gun you are a weirdo. Different mentality here. Seriously, that propaganda pro guns a lot of people believe is simply stupid and can be negated with simple facts.
