Good grief, man. I grew up in Chicago in the most criminally active area.
Did you or do you live in Chicago to be talking like you're an expert on this city?
Crime in that city today is nowhere near what they were 20 years ago.
Tell that to the facts. You know, cold hard statistics. Tell that to all the people who, basing their statements on those cold hard facts, say Chicago is the most violent city in the country, beyond New York City, beyond even the violence in Washington D.C. It certainly is nowhere near as violent as it was as 20 years ago, but it's still the most violent. Why is it not as violent as it was 20 years ago? Hear's a hint: A Surpreme Court 2nd Amendment ruling allowing people to have guns. You know, the landmark ruling that overturned city-wide anti-gun policy? Once responsibly armed citizens got their rights restored violent encounters by all the criminals preying on the weak drastically dropped. Look it up if you don't believe me. Maybe some research will do you some good and help clean some of the cobwebs out of your way of thinking about guns.
Oh, and just curious, when you lived in Chicago, was your apartment dwelling carpeted in a few feet of sand to bury your head in? (See image in previous post)

I do not apply any moral code to an inanimate object. Therefore a gun cannot be evil.
